To compare Hitler to Gandhi is to place a lion and a lamb in the same confined space and watch to see who comes out the victor. Pius IX, as well, represents misdirected authority, while Kai-Shek stands firm in an autocratic society. Churchill's political and social contributions lean toward the quest for complete abolition of tyrannical rule, with Hitler at the top of his list.
